Studios, Falmouth , Maine. August 2003 - present
Producer/Engineer -In late 2003 Joe met Andrew Morgan, a Falmouth sound
engineer who was planning a large expansion to an already established
business, Sound Masters.
The new 5 room facility Foreside Studios, is scheduled for a late 2005
completion but projects are already underway in the completely plushed
out basement studio(The Bunker) already in place.
Formats include 2" Sony 24 track analog with Dolby SR and Steinberg's
Nuendo digital platform for multimedia production.

Entertainment Portland, Maine - November 2001- April 2004
Chief Sound Technician - After having recorded 7 of Bob's CD's, Joe
was asked by Oliver Keithly to handle production duties for the ever
growing Bob Marley Comedy Tour. Duties included sound, lights, mechandise
and announcing!Wow was this FUN!
Big
Sound Westbrook, Maine. February 1993 - June 2001
Manager- Selected by owner Thomas A. Daly to manage the day to day operations
of a commercial recording operation. Tasks included all studio bookings,
invoicing of clients, telephone sales, light bookkeeping, facility and
equipment maintenance.
Chief Engineer - Operation of all equipment used during a recording
session. Complete set up of microphones and patching of external devices.
Operation of all machines and computers. Producer/arranger/artist- Collaborated
with artists on original material, helping with lyrical and arrangement
changes, and performance of instrumental and vocal arrangements.
Clientele- Included Arista Records, Capitol/EMI Records, Crooked Cove
Records,Hopeless Records, Imaginary Road Records, Lookout Records, MCA
Records and many more.

Owner Full audio productions for both musical and commercial clients.
Tasks included creation of original music and copy for radio jingles,
as well as all studio operations.

Entertainment Portland, Maine March 1989 - November 1990
Production Assistant Assistant to the director during the production
of “Lobsteroids” a full-length cult classic produced in
Portland during 1989-90. Pre-production tasks included casting, screen
writing, script writing, scene plots, and location selection. Production
tasks included set management, staff coordination, and audio set up.
Post production tasks included video editing and sound design.

April 2002- April 2003
Retail Sales & Service Staff member at one of Portland’s oldest
and most prominent music retailers. Tasks included sales and service
of stringed instruments.
